 This is a Bible on Bibles i.e. an account of the early versions ofd the English Bible. Index is vii - xvi 395pp pus 17 poates at rear. These are photographs of the original plates from bibles mentioned in the book dating from 1535. The title page of the book is missing but a new one has been made. Dark blue board with cream spine which overlaps onto front and rear boards. There are two stamps which states it is from the Young Men's Chritstian Association LIbrary, South Western District on blank parts of pages. No other markings. Very clean interior.
